An old man's career goes flat, Snackbar moves to open deck

Yeah, it looks like it's sideways in the middle. Sorta a Crete sandwich.

 

Was a productive 34. Got all my laundry done, Walmart shopping done, replaced my windshield wipers, topped off all my fluids, greased my 5th wheel, sorted out all my straps, did some interior reorganizing, disassembled the dash and figured out it ISN'T the dash switch malfunctioning that turns on my axle locker, it's something outside and even caught a mid-afternoon nap. Now I am ready to rock-'n'-roll for another stellar week.

 

I found out that the frames I was hauling aren't for storage. They were one half of a set that they use to secure the fuselage to the rail car. The guy told me they have a bunch of rail cars loaded and ready just sitting across the street. In fact, as I was navigating around the Spirit facility (trying to find out where I unload at - because the map they give you is waaaay off) there are completed fuselages on rail cars on just about every siding and spur inside the fences. Got empty and came over to the new Love's here in Wichita...not the biggest I've seen, but they have a bunch of bobtail/box truck spots.

 

Love's in Ritzville, Love's in Moses Lake, and there is Ernie's truckstop at exit 179 east of the Moses Lake Love's. Plus there's the Rising Sun Casino/travel center in Moses Lake as well at exit 176. Plus the Petro just west of Spokane if you can make it that far.

Got my next load. Park City, KS to Wood Dale, IL, Franklin Park, IL and Newark....and I get to keep my conestoga. All delivers by Friday. Will put me in the upper 6000's plus 2 stops and any hazmat pay for that Mass load out of Cali.
