I’ve taken one of those loads before. It did not smell pleasant, but the trailer was clean when it was offloaded, even if it did smell like the county dump

Do they have a washout on site?

    IH9300SBA Thanks this.

I took scrap load from Perdue Farms in Washington In once up to Logansport. Talk about needing a washout afterwards!

    Silverdriver and IH9300SBA Thank this.

I took a Tyson load once from Union City Tennessee to the Tyson facility in Fort Smith, Arkansas, and it obviously was scrap and was leaking blood so much that at the pilot in North Little Rock, where I stopped the fuel there was blood all over the ground at the fuel pump as well as my DOT bumper and license plate on the trailer was completely covered… Fortunately Tyson washed out themselves after unloading it

Fremont shop I will avoid from here on our incompetent shop worker cost me more money than I needed to spend. Needed a brake pressure switch replaced in the dash because cruise control stopped working and the brake lights stuck on. Employee didn't know what he was doing I dia the issue myself with the help of the Internet had the sensor unplugged to have brake lights work like they should no cruise control. He should have just replaced it but no he thought it had a wiring issue checking all the wires and when he replaced the sensor he replaced all three when only one needed to be replaced since it rusted inside shorting it. And then he cracked the plastic manifold behind the dash requiring hours of labor to replace that. I could have replaced it myself if I had a deep socket 27mm with me at the time. I was in for a check engine light as well and my trailer needed service so that's why I thought they could do something that should have been simple. It seems council bluffs has better shop people.

Well you have the ability to use an outside shop if you so choose. When I first started here, they didn’t work on any O/O trucks.

I’ve never had a bad experience at either shop, they’ve always done good work and a discounted labor rate.

Those plastic manifolds crack even when NO ONE touches them sometimes.

They used to, but cost cutting has been the way of the OEMs for years. One of my trucks used to constantly give a low air pressure warning all the time immediately after the compressor cut off. It was a faulty pressure sensor, and the manifold "cracked replacing it". I looked at the old manifold, and pointed out that it had been cracked for a while, and that was likely the problem the whole time. That kind of issue, and the fact that a buzzer sounded the ENTIRE TIME the power divider was locked in made me #### glad to move out of that Cascadia.

    Knucklehead and rokue Thank this.
