OTR driver making only $300 weekly??

The one thing I hate about these videos is they all leave out the video that they are talking about.

As for the subject, many are at fault for promoting this as a way to rescue someone and make the big bucks.

Many drivers are steering wheel holders and don't deserve the money they get, they have a get-by attitude and perpetuate the image we have to the public - truck drivers are scum.

I can remember back in the mid 70s making $12.75 an hour , that was a good pay then. After that, just climbing up and up and up and up. my first day with the teamsters, they said welcome to your retirement job. I am so thankful for all the years with the teamsters they take care of you. They know trucking , you have to pay your dues. Go through the process of seniority .work your way up, well worth it. At $300 a week, he's definitely doing it wrong.

 

I wouldn't walk across the street and check my neighbor's mail for $300 a week.

 

At least you didn’t use the “ wouldn’t start my truck for less than ….” analogy.
