After all said and done I have been up and running now for about two weeks. Never ever will I forget to knock that out. Had to get Tags fixed as well because it canceled them when the dot number got shut down.

I missed mine even though I SWEAR I submitted it twice in the months prior to the due date. Then I get a letter saying my DOT# is suspended. Finally gave up and paid a 3rd party to do it. Crazy how simple it is to fill out and submit on the 3rd party website but the knuckle dragging glue eating worthless scumbags who run these government websites make it a first rate pain in the ###. I doubt it'll happen but I really hope Trump and Musk shake these ######## up. As much money as the government takes from us they could at least make it easy to give it to them

Meanwhile Habibi and his junky ### Volvo with a 70% oos inspection rate have been running down the road with no problem. Both feet up on the dash watching Netflix, bald tires, air dryer purging every 20 seconds and half his body panels held on with baling wire.
But a guy makes an honest mistake over a form nobody gives a f about and they pull your ####. Really don't make a lick of senseShort Fuse EOD, 86scotty, IH Truck Guy and 7 others Thank this. -
Well, from a right or wrong perspective it doesn’t feel good
On paper, a fleet or dispatch service running different numbers than whats on the truck, doesn’t care what violations really are or what the laws are/ long as there is some profit after expenses.
Pretty frustrating to be attempting to compete, with players like that as common as they are.
Kinda like the business model of american manufacturing: the competition is producing in countries where they pay literal pennies to our dollars, have zero health or safety requirements to contend with: end users may be disappointed with quality control, but that only goes so far when the product is 30-40% of the cost of american produced. Lotta people are price customers and thats where the volume of business goes for profit margin.
Selling a service, ie trucking: a one truck chuck is selling his time expertise and equipment- lotta people still see that as a commodity because of the caliber of individuals offering themselves up for peanuts.
As a man: your time is finite. Theres a limit to what you can sell therein, so your level of service has to exceed your competition and you have to find customers willing to pay more for it.
Products: you can churn that #### out as fast as someone else produces it.
Ideas: harder to sell but has a huge margin in comparison.nikmirbre, Big Road Skateboard, IH Truck Guy and 5 others Thank this. -

Anybody know when the website will be back up? I’ve been trying since Jan 1 to do my update and all I get is a message saying the website is down.
Are they going to give a grace period due to the site being down? Mine is due by the end of the month.Oxbow Thanks this. -
