Fair enough lol, i was very confused. I know paccar released a new injector design for the epa 13 motor at some point and it was absolute garbage to the point most prefered the older style injectors if you could find then. So you saying gen 3 had my brain locking up XD

Reverting back 25 years to pre-emission engines? Legal deletes?
    I don't see it happen.
That would be the biggest ever mockery in the history of environmental research and lobbying.
Where's the actual legislation passed by the house and the senate?
Until then, it is just one or two guys on YouTube talking about it.

I was hoping Trump was going to do something like that.

This is a nightmare with these trucks with the emissions and the junk and it's just all garbage.

As far as I understand it all of this stuff is governed solely by the EPA.

I don't believe that there actually were laws passed about any of this.

Same way with EV mandates and all of that stupidity.

I like to buy a dump truck. I'd buy one that's maybe 5 years old if I could.

Screw them and their emissions crap.

I'll buy something older and work on it

That is what a large part of W. Virginia vs EPA, and the ‘Chevron Deference’ was about. SCOTUS ruled that agency’s do not have the authority to ‘make law’. That is solely the responsibility of the Legislative branch to pass a ‘bill’ that then is either signed or vetoed by the Executive branch. SCOTUS basically said that Congress wrongfully granted agency’s the power to create law, and issue fines & penalties.

How much did he crank up the power after he did it?

I wouldn’t say it’s impossible, but I’d need the sacrament of confirmation on that happening to an engine that’s still running stock power.

I’d say he was around 600 hp my tuned cat put 615 to the wheels and I’d slightly out pull him.

True that, this is totally a mess. Noone wants to pay 20,000 to replace an emissions item two times during the life of an engine that costs an additional 25,000 to repair, the profit margins are getting even slimmer on top of all of that additional cost. How does an owner operator survive with all of these handicaps?
