Oh my. Yes, as long as no one was hurt, things can be replaced… but ya, still sucks. :-(

    Knucklehead and DonRobbie Thank this.

He was afraid he’d miss his exit, so he dove in front of me and slammed on his brakes as he went for the exit only lane to my right. The good news is… he made his exit.

The driver was apparently sans license. I was released before the interesting conversation happened with the officer.

I am so relieved it was just a fender bender. When he slammed on the brakes I was sure for a second that I was going to run over him. It’s just bent metal (and not that bad really).

So I am a temporary member of the White Cascadia mafia. I’m checking the truckstops for track suits so I can dress the part.

Lol, from now on you're only allowed to wear truck stop clothing get the matching flip-flops and a T shirt that's a size or two too small.

And make sure you talk on your phone as loudly as possible while your sitting down doing your morning download, that way everyone in the stalls around you knows your business.

Yeah, I kind of miss being able to go home on PC. Working LTL all week and knowing that I would need to get home, they would still push me on hours. I'm pretty sure the longest PC I had was 7 and a half hours. 4 hours was normal. Usually empty or bobtail home and no stops at a terminal in between. Kept me legal and let me get home. Plus I got paid for the miles home.....

I used to be with Verizon when I was driving, but I've switched to Patriot Mobile. I'm on a limited data plan because I've got Wi-Fi at the house but I went from $80+/month to $32/month. Service has been great.

My goal during the lease is to take home at least $1,000-$1,100 a week after all expenses, which is what i take home as a company driver. Anything more will be saved to be used when needed

If i can’t do that then i’ll just stay as a company driver
