So i got a written warning from safety about breaking company policy, having my visor down apparently covering part of the driver facing camera. I do not drive unsafe. never use my phone period while driving and always alert. safety even said they see my hands on the wheel the entire time. I'm just wondering should I just look for another job? I know it's not good getting a written warning. I can just use this as a reason to quit and find another job, i have the experience, over 2 years otr, clean driving record. Is it even worth sticking around?

Go further up the chain of command. A safety nazi can’t tell you to NOT you a sun visor, when it’s necessary. If you want to get stupid, get an attorney. There’s one out there who’ll be glad to give your employer grief.
dunchues, JolliRoger, Lonesome and 7 others Thank this. -
I would not worry about it.
You've got to be kidding me? Sun visor? What the hell is this crap coming to?
Tell them apparently, they need to move their #### camera placement or accept responsibility for any crash when you are blinded. And, get that in writing in email, messaging or whatever you use for communication.
Or, authorization to just park it when heading into the sun.........
Unbelievable the crap these big company desk jockeys deal out these days.
I agree with @Judge
Ridiculous. -
I keep my visor down and the bottom of the visor pushed all the way forward and I do that 24/7.
I'd have to change companies if I were not allowed to do that. I'd also tell the company I won't work there if I can't adjust my visor to my comfort.Knucklehead, Wargames, Trucker Paul and 8 others Thank this. -

Ridiculous & unreasonable to an extreme.
THEY bought the #### trucks, they should know what they are dealing with.Knucklehead, dunchues, JolliRoger and 3 others Thank this. -
I drove for a company once that removed all the passenger side visors because they would block the camera. I ran nights so I didn't care.
hope not dumb twucker, D.Tibbitt, born&raisedintheusa and 1 other person Thank this. -
If it's so important to them, they should reposition the cameras.
Spare no expense for safety, right?
I know, mega I started with tested out driver facing cams & decided they would NEVER implement fleetwide. Guess what they implemented 10yrs later?
Glad I went off on my own years ago. No way I could work for someone anymore under the conditions some of you all have to deal with.
I get worked up seeing what ya'll are are under.
This one definately takes the cake of all of them.
Unfortunately, it's going that way for everyone. Sad, sad state of affairs.Knucklehead, Speedy356, hope not dumb twucker and 3 others Thank this.
