New Truck Prices - Tariffs / EPA27 Looking Forward

Just an fyi, support the transportation freedom act, while some parts are bad/not good, the one thing it is great for is stripping the epa requirements for diesel HD trucks, allowing a delete on the truck.

 

You should had moved to Volvo. They are assembled here in the states and they just released the new Macks.

 

Volvo/Mack are probably experiencing price increases on raw materials and components same as the Paccar brands.

24 volts, $1600 windshield, tons of quality control issues. Maybe in a few years it's gonna be a good buy.

 

I have not heard of any. I will reach out in a few days and see. Normally they will send me an email and let me know.

 

I like the 24 volt idea but they need to get away from the stupid AGM batteries on that system. I love my lithium that I bought and would just wire them into that system.
The windshield is not much different than the one I have as far as cost but mine does have the heater element in it.

I have heard some bad stuff on them but nothing that would make me scared to buy one. Just like any new truck gonna have a few issues. The 9-10 MPG's would make up any issues for me. I have a great shop that would push me in front of most anyone so that is why I say that.

 

Volvo may as well discontinue the Mack line. It’s hideous.

it's borderline disrespectful to even carry the mack name anymore. MACK was the class of the industry before Volvo took over
