Impressive. Were those plates already preformed before he started, or was the whole shebang done in one go from start of that day? Asking because that is some seriously thick plate to be so well formed.

I had the measurements written down, the design in my head in my head, and the old pivots carved off.
We cut and bent a narrow test piece for the cross frame plate, then cut everything out and bent it.
I then took all the pieces home and me and the boy welded it up.
It was start to finish (except paint) yesterday.Last edited: May 10, 2025

Several of the places I have a contract with sell all old time reclaimed stuff. Stone, windows, doors, all kind of miscellaneous bull #### out of rich people's houses and city and religious projects. -
