This ain’t no flatbed load, but our jobsites all got rained out, so I blew the rear suspension apart last night and started this round of modifications. -

How are you going about lowering the Flex -Air? -
Pulled the spacer between the frame bracket and C spring out, cut down the crossmember that the air bag is sitting on a corresponding amount, redrilling the trac bar location higher on the frame, and built extended upper shock mounts.
This way, any wear item (air bag, shock, etc,) is still Flex Air, travel should be unchanged, and pinion angles should all be fine.
To give some perspective where it should end up, a Flex Air has an 8.5” ride height, (ride height is measured from the center of the axle tube to the bottom of the frame), a Low Low Air (car hauler) is 6.5”, and I should be at 7”.Feedman, exhausted379, Espressolane and 5 others Thank this.
