Getting ready to roll for the day. Everything is looking good. More road work ahead on WB I-80. The WB side of the Green River, WY tunnel looks like it’s still closed. There was an awful accident in it a couple of months ago that caused a lot of damage. They have the EB side of the tunnel divided for EB and WB traffic. Going to get some healthy low calorie trail mix at the next fuel stop.

 

Remember that accident horrible. Run it cool. I've got lawns to mow in john deere green.

Well… talked to another owner op that’s hanging it up. Today last day, said he’s done.

That was a nasty situation. Those tunnels are very dangerous in the winter. They get iced up the full length of them.
Have seen a lot of crashes over the years in and around them. Hopefully this will get some things improved and reduce the likelihood that something like that will happen again.

 

It depends on which "economy" is being looked at. Most news is focused on the "Wall Street Economy", not the "Blue Collar Economy".
