FCC--Fremont Contract Carriers

They had big yellow arrows painted on the ground at Shelby and people were still parking wrong. The last time I was there before I quit they had the signs with the pictures of the truck showing how to park and those cracked me up. “Look out the door. If your truck looks like this (pic of front of truck) you’re parked wrong and need to turn around. If it looks like this (pic of trailer doors) you’re parked correctly”.

 

Going back to work tomorrow after 5 days off since i got home 2 days early. Would've went out today but I had plans so...

Also since payroll ends tomorrow night, I will most likely have little if anything on this weeks paycheck. Oh well. It is what it is.

Will be staying out until July 3rd

 

Anyone heading to Goodlettsville, Oak Grove, Ky is in a rough spot right now. The J is still flooded and closed. Last time I passed through the little Pilot across the street was a mess late at night with all the creative parking.
I guess they had more flooding a few days ago that took out the water at the big Pilot at the 89. Bathrooms are working again but no showers or laundry. Unsurprisingly the Loves is full early. If you are heading in for a Monday delivery you may want to find another landing spot.

 

Yeah I avoid that area now. I go up the road to the circle k in Tennessee just past Clarksville.

 

Went up to Aurora and came back home yesterday. About to leave the yard i park in for New Mexico

 

I forgot to mention but another one bit the dust at the Hebron scalehouse yesterday. Ol' Stevens Transport thought the open sign didn't apply to him and rolled right on by. The trooper walked out and was not impressed. He got an unwelcome visit from said trooper shortly after

 

@Modlite11 were you comin down I-29 today in Missouri with an “A” frame of granite and shrink wrapped pallets behind it with “STL” spray painted on them?

Delivered in Brenham yesterday, reloaded this morning in Brownwood TX heading back up to Valley. Played “dodge the storms” from Tonkawa to McPherson.


Next plan, irrigation parts from Valley to Inman KS, then probably pick up stone from cottonwood falls ks heading back to Omaha/elkhorn/lincoln/fremont-ish area
