I like this particular job offer. I like it because it's 40-45 hours a week. I can go to the gym 4-5 days a week. I would only have to sleep in the truck 3 days a week. I'd get my own little intermodal container bedroom for free. I would almost get to be a normal person. Plus this would by far be the easiest trucking job I've had.

I understand all the points people are making and realizing that this company could be a problem for me. I'm really not interested in working overtime for free ever again. 40 hours is plenty, I'd be making about the exact same money at this job compared to Schneider which was 60-70 hours and zero home time. Maybe 100 less a week here. So that 100 bucks costs me 20-30 hours a week? Nope, never again

I'm probably going to go for it. There's 2 scale houses on my route I believe. 1 in each direction. I don't know everything, but I know respect usually goes a long way, especially with officers. If I get pulled over it is what it is. I don't see many other options where I can get what I want out of a company and get paid a decent wage. Job market is still trash. I would work 100 hours a week if I got paid correctly for that but no one's doing that anymore. Feels like can't even get paid correctly for 70 hours unless you're lucky.

Cheapest rent I can find in Las Vegas for a studio is almost $1700 a month. So according to the experts I should spend no more than 30% on that, and ideally less than 20%. So take home would need to be over 5700 just to afford an apartment. And you don't get much for that 1700, trust me you're not going to love it. And that's 5700 take home minimum just to be able to survive correctly.

Hey, all your supporters can exhale now! If the job pleases you, then that's what matters anyway.

Here's the yard view from my hotel room. The white round roof is the entrance and that shipping container is one the onsite apartments
