Found this poor tweety bird this mornin stuck in my grill must of bashed him last night somewhere..
Guess i found the new name for the truck . Tweety. Makes me remember my old blue 386 i named blue bird after smashing thru a whole herd of blue jays up in montana and have blue feathers stuck all in the grill and down the side of the truck.. lol

 

I think I actually submitted that to the movie mistakes website back when I was in highschool lol.

 

Reading back looking at pictures here is making me miss the wide open road.

We did a cleanup today. The soaked through to your underwear slapping mosquitoes with shovels kinda stuff that gold rush never shows.

The mine inspector isn't too impressed


1,800 ish yards of pay ends up in a dozen 5 gal buckets cleaning out the big box. Run that through a "cleanup" sluice cuts it down to a couple gallons of concentrate.
Run that through a spiral gold wheel gets it 50-50 gold and black sand.


Cut the magnetic portion of black sand off with a magnet and carefully pan er down.
Put it on the scale and either drink cause your happy
Or drink cause yer pissed...

 

So we're stopping at ports of entry now?

Seriously though. I have pre pass but even when it's a red light I just sail on by. I figure if I ever get stopped for it I'll just claim someone wouldn't let me over and bypassing was the safer option.

 

Yeah that’s my line. I’m actually bad about grabbing the left lane and let traffic pile up on my right. Then about 100 yards before the scale I turn the blinker on and cruise right on by.

I know, I’m probably selling it too hard.

 

I wear light gray shirts pretty much religiously. Truck has black seatbelts, but so are my suspenders so maybe they think I’m over secured lol….

 

Need a racing harness for them big trucks! Come in!

I have to run a load to Tennessee for tomorrow morning, wife’s Dad is going to stay with her till I get back. Today makes a year since my Dad passed away, try to get loaded today and spend some time with some of my siblings before I roll out later tonight with my bucket of bolts….
