Speed limiters coming for 4 wheelers.

    It’s not far fetched observation so I was just messing with yah.

    In an autonomous world it would need to happen because all vehicles on the road would need to communicate electronically.

    I should be long gone by then..I hope :)

    One state mandates speed limiters, but would have no effect on vehicles coming from out of state. Right.
    But wait, why do 90% of box trailers have side skirts if only California requires them?

    Most cars set their speed limiter for the tire ratings. Typically 105 for pickup tires.

    Cars have had speed limiters for a long time. Most non performance cars are limited to 110. My 94 Cheyenne was limited to 100

    As for limiters for wreckless drivers dont they have Breathalyzers on automobiles for dui offenders on probation ?

    Breathalyzer's to start cars haven't become mandatory for everyone yet and that was the same argument they had 30years ago when they put that punishment into law. Everyone figured it would be required on every new car and it never happened.
    I think this is a great idea. Slow those shistkampts down. Same with repeat drunk drivers, The only way they will learn is to muzzle them with a governor.
