How do you use the jake brake on a truck with an automatic transmission?

    I guess I'll let the 20,000 RPM stuff slide, and the head cylinder and the jet brakes as being from someone that simply has no clue.

    But claiming that 2,200 RPM going downhill with the engine brake will damage a DD-15 (presumably with the DT-12 transmission?)?
    It won't if the computer is controlling the RPM and shift points.
    Those engines were designed just for that.

    Youve been driving a truck with an automated transmission for one year.

    It’s not an automatic transmission.

    You use the jake exactly the same as you would on any other truck.
