It’s more than just snoring. It’s where your airway gets blocked off and you literally stop breathing in your sleep and then your brain wakes you up gasping for air and you’ll do this hundreds of times throughout the night. Yes, most people sleep apnea snore, but some people without sleep apnea also snore, so snoring is not an absolute indicator. If you take your phone and you turn on the recording and put it on the nightstand and then you kind of scan through the next morning…. obviously you’re not gonna listen to eight hours of recording, but you can kind of skip through it if you have sleep apnea you’ll know it. It will freak you out what you hear. You’ll hear yourself gasping for air and choking all night. Most people with severe sleep apnea know Something isn’t right. They wake up more tired in the morning than when they went to sleep at night. Most people with sleep apnea also live in denial about it. But if you have it, you really need to do something about it because it will kill you. It’ll take 30 years off your life easily.
