We hauled those on a heavy spec deep drop step trailer. Would never ramp load/unload them.
Some of the ones we moved were like 43k. Had something like 200ft reach.
We did have ramp kits, rated for 25k per section. They also doubled as bridges. Dang heavy pieces.

I was gonna ask what those ramps are rated for . Couldn't remember.. Last time I pulled a step with ramps was years ago with Swift, but they only used them to haul sprinter vans and light stuff like that... some reason I thought they was only 10k rated a piece but I could be way wrong about that, been to long

In the rental business it's mostly about how cheap can I get it done. Company I work for hauls lot for rental companies. Used to be they'd call tell us what they had to move and we'd go do it. Several stores are still this way , but more and more are wanting a price. They'll call a broker and get a cheap price and sometimes call back ,ask if we can compete. The store manager wants to save money so at the end of the month his numbers look good. Some managers know cheapest isn't always better.

Think it has a lot to do with what is specified. We did a lot of moderately heavy equipment. So we may have had heavyweight units. Just know they were quite heavy for each piece.

It's gettin close to vacation time here. The last two weeks have been an utter pile of ####. I've been hiitin it a bit too hard for about 3 months now. Bad attitude is startin to set in.

But, Fridays new music releases has brightened my day. Parental advisory BTW

Think the ones I got are rated 23,000# axle load.
Heaviest thing I run up them was a 14H grader.
Way more worried about the ### end of the trailer than the ramps after watching the Hurst "heavy haul guy". Lol

Now there’s some truth. We run farm/ranch products all year, so no mixing with that crowd.
