    The price was really right so for now that's what I'm working with. I'm figuring to run the tread off and then swap them for duals. Why anyone would want them on a log trailer is beyond me.

    Kid is 3rd generation. Dads been leased to me the last 8-9 years. He's planning on retiring in the spring when our plate and insurance renews. Probably throw a farm plate on his truck every fall for harvest.
    3 million plus on his old 359.

    Couple years hopefully he can run the show and I can just throw a pile of paperwork at him and demand my $$$!

    All the talk of double frames. Anybody know of someone going through the trouble of removing the inner?

    I've bought a core engine I'm gonna build and have ready, and have been thinking of doing the swap when I pull the fuel tanks and skirting this winter.

    I've also thought about removing the inner while doing all the other, and timing would be right if I already had the engine/tranny out

    One of the things that Hurst ran into was loading 10’6 wide tracked vehicles on an 8’6 step. The ramp load rating would be compromised.

    Then again, everything near the rub rail would be compromised too.

    Pulled the liner that sat along the rear suspension on my 1980 W9. Lower flanges were spread at least an inch to an inch and a half. It was a ducking pain in the ###.
