Ask your doctor if you are on any medicines that are forbidden by the FMCSA. The doctor can also change your prescriptions if they interfere with trucking. For example, if you're on an allowable anxiety med, it can be changed so that you take them before bed instead of during the day.

I wonder what insurance will think. That's usually something that is scrutinized. Every carrier loves to blame insurance for decisions they don't want to make.

Should they be banned from trucks? NO. They still gotta make a living. Bills don't like it when they lose your revenue.
Some people get sick that they shouldn't be working. They put others at risk of being hurt. They're a danger. But try filing for disability.
If you can work. You're expected to work.
Most have had their careers a long time. Then they get sick. And they go to the hospital. And get sent home with no answers.Walk Among Us Thanks this. -
