I never heard of him, or the company before this. I guess, the publicity worked.

Who ####ing cares? I don't think something like that should be grounds for termination. Divorce sure but as long as performance on the clock is not changed then refer to my first sentence. Who ####ing cares?

These CEO's don't get to the top because of character. It's performance and that's all. Just business

But, when you give the company name a bad look, you gone.

CEOs don't just get caught randomly in public engaging in an affair folks, dude let his guard down for a not very attractive coworker turned lover. For most folks cheating is not a big news event, but when there's potential big money involved in the form of lawsuits then it is a big deal. I mentioned the Cold Play in another thread. It'll be interesting to see how this plays out. Maybe it was just coincidence, I highly doubt it though.

Divorce = the screwing you get for the screwing you got.

If there was extra screwing during the got part then the getting screwed part gets really ugly.

    Trust me on this one.

If a person is willing to cheat on their spouse, what makes you think they won't cheat their business partners?

I know I'm a 'prude' in this respect, but I don't do business with people who can't be faithful to their significant other. I'm fine with 'open relationships' or 'thruples' or 'poly symphonic couplings' - whatever the kids are calling it these days. Just be honest in your dealings.

On a specific legal basis, regardless of infidelity - having the CEO romantically/sexually involved with the head of HR is a HUGE FRIGGIN PROBLEM. Anyone romantically involved with a subordinate opens the company to a lot of liability, and there are generally policies/guidelines of how to navigate these scenarios.

But let's ignore all that and focus on the video. Dude was caught red handed and thought ducking out of frame was a logical course of action. Best thing to do at that point is to not react at all and deal with the fallout after the fact. By going "Full Looney Toons", he created the viral moment that is impossible to ignore. What happens when the company is in a similar situation? Will he make deliberate decisions or will he shoot from the hip?
