Interesting. Did you know Junior? In the mid 80s, I was working at a 5 star hotel and I used to drive guests between the hotel and the airport. The first celebrity I met was Jamie Farr. He and John Davidson from “That’s Incredible” were doing a show.
The next celebrity I met was Lulu Roman from “HE HAW”. Nice woman. She was in town for a Pat Boone golf tournament. Met John Daly at this time also (Daly was a rookie and very much unknown at the time.)
For my dumb arse, it was just another day in the office That mentally pissed certain celebrities off. The main one I can think of is Robert Redford. Major A hole. Expecting the whole world to be in awe because he’s a Hollywood actor. Dude, GTFO with that nonsense. By the mid 80s, he was a has been, yet wanting people to be in awe? Sorry hand, I don’t awe.

That’s not surprising since Robert Redford is a mental case.
This reminds me of 20-some years ago when I first started listening to Glenn Beck. He told a story about being in line at an airport behind Al Franken. Apparently Franken asked where the “special” line was for “people like me”.
