I would highly recommend not working for woody bogler, especially on their end dump side, unless you want to work for fast food wages, and starve, the job itself is easy, but its alot of bs that they dont pay for, breakdown pay, detention pay and empty miles they do not pay for, they expect you to run overweight, and if you get caught and get a ticket, they will not pay it, and will expect you to use a hand shovel to shovel out sometimes tons of clay, or sand or rock, unpaid for. I took the job because I needed one, I have come to understand i dont need one that bad, to deal with their bs, they have like 40 trucks just siting there because nobody will agree to the pay.

How much do they pay? Are there gauges on the truck and trailer?

You will net like 6 or 700 a week, the most your doing there is 1k a week, there are gauges on the truck for the tractor and trailer but it dosent matter, because you can still be over weight, you just dont know until you weight at a truck stop.

That's not true. Learn your truck. Load it, scale it the first time, and either calibrate your gauges to the CAT scale weight or if not adjustable REMEMBER what its reading. THEN you know when to stop the loader or instruct him where to add product or stop loading.

6-700 a week is pitiful, I find that number to be unrealistic with an experienced end dump driver working 5 days a week. An inexperienced driver that doesn't know how to read their gauges properly for tonnage, maybe.

How much experience do you have with end dumps? (I'm not belittling you, I'm just trying to get the entire story. I know some Bogler drivers, I wouldn't drive for them because I own my truck and trailer, but they don't have the same complaints you're describing)

Agreed on the gauges, 56 on my tractor and somewhere near 58 on my trailer is 79’ish, you have to know these things to make the job consistent on your end.

Ok, well I know how to scale properly, it's have driven all brands of trucks, and know how to properly scale them, I made 2800 a week, hauling tyson refrigerated freight at my last job as a company driver, theres no money in end dump, at least from what I have seen, obviously dirt is not going to bring in the money that refrigerated can, especially meat, but still, dosent matter about the gauges because even if there reading correct on them you can still be overweight, I know what numbers my gauges should read on the tractor and trailer, many of woody bogler drivers quit recently because of pay, cant talk for other companies but I can for woody and the pay is trash, if your happy driving a truck to stay on poverty thats cool I guess, I and many other drivers, are truck drivers to make money.

Every company has ambassadors, man. They're down the road from us and we've hired a few of their drivers. Some van, some end dump. I've came across a mix of reviews from their former drivers. The most memorable complainer came from the van side. He didn't like that they kept sending him to NE, mainly New Jersey.

@Peace_Maker didn't you used to drive for Woody Bogler? I may be wrong but I didn't remember. If so, what'd you remember about them?

Complaining is one thing, when the entire job is trash and garbage, and drivers are quiting left and right its a different story, they have 40 empty trucks for a reason.
