    GRC,

Haven't heard from you for a little while. I hope things are still going well for you at Schneider. Have you decided when you are moving back to TN?

You know Doug at the Edwardsville terminal told hubby that he has seen a lot of former Roehl drivers coming over to Schneider. I thought he was kidding but there is four of us right here. Small world. Now I hope Ray Gabriel stays at Roehl and doesn't come back to Schneider.

Quick Question for Grc Tn & Bigcove :

I see your both based in TN and from what i can tell SNI has a yard in Lebanon. Living in Nashville do you think I might be able to qualify for the homerun fleet or at least regional ( Home once a week ?) Would really be interested in out 2 and home 1 wk. Thanks for the great posts..i know alot of lurkers read them.

I don't see why not. They told me that the are putting a new yard within 6 months in Nashville. All I did was fill out an application on their website for the Nashville regional position and they called me about two weeks later to see if I was interested. You have to do the application specifically for the position - not just a general application. It resembles a career finder website or something similar. You need to scroll through and find the regional for Nashville or something similar. I would be happy to give you the recruiter's phone number in a PM if you let me know, but I am sure they will direct you to the website for completing the application.

I hope that helps. I will be happy to answer any more questions I can. Keep in mind I have limited knowledge.

Harrison, did they give any info on where that might be in Nashville? Seems you heard something I sure didn't know. Not that it's surprising.:biggrin_2559:

No...I was just told they are opening a new drop yard somewhere in the city. I asked how far out it would be before it opens and they projected less than 6 months. Currently I will need to use the drop yard in Clarksville until Nashville opens.

Yeah, Your right. I did email them a week ago with the same question, I have yet to hear back. Thought I would go straight to the source. Was planning on going to the TA in Nashville, but Im sure its shut down due to the floods.
