Realized oversized isn't as fun as I thought took us 4 1/2 to go 120 miles.elpaso traffic and having to go permit route. But as a wise man once said(that's trucking)
FullMetalJacket, wulfman75, Walk Among Us and 2 others Thank this. -
Look at the bigger picture. One day when you go owner op… you’ll be doing these oversized loads with 120 miles at 20 a mile .

You know what it's good you got to experience a permit route. Texas permits are difficult to decipher and so now you can decide if it's for you. A lot of drivers don't understand the stress of curfews, routing, holiday shutdowns, construction rerouting, etc. I'm glad to see you're sticking it out at Melton. You're way past the worst part. I did exactly 2 years at Melton and I have no regrets
FullMetalJacket, wulfman75, James j and 1 other person Thank this. -
Oversized isn't worth it. I just look at it as a combination of helping out the company and/or paying my dues.
James j Thanks this. -
Yeah the directions had me confused ### hell.the street names on the permit were not the same as signsDdh77777 and Walk Among Us Thank this.

that's one of the reasons it pays more.

On today's episode of how to be a flatbedder.we learn not to straddle road gators.the truck sucks it up and breaks your airline off the can.you then get to spend 2 hours in Texas desert telling yourself how stupid you are
Sons Hero, Lonesome, Knight_Rider and 1 other person Thank this.
