I followed two truck one morning on my motorcycle after a night of bar hopping. It took them five miles to pass each other. I had to stop a few minutes later, got back on the interstate and passed them again, they were still only about 50 yards apart.

To keep myself entertained, I sometimes keep a tally of how many times I get passed by the same truck in a shift. So far the "record" is 5.

I too have been cursed with a 62 mph trk...fus---tur--a--ting to say the least....

I tried to be mindful of this....but when I move over to let someone merge onto the highway and they keep me hangin' out there..what's a driver to do...when it's just one or two, yea I just back it down to get in behind them,,,but this isn't always the case...and if someone moves over to let me in,,I try to make sure I don't leave them out there...quite a few truck companies with trucks under 65 mph...Sure did like it when Ohio and Illinois rasied the speed limit for trucks...not that I ever had much to worry about....got passed many a time by bears..while I was all the way into 62 mph....
What I don't like is when I get passed on a hill only to sloww down for them within 1/4 mile...Unless I know I can get far enough ahead..and I know I'm not going to be slowing down anyway I don't pass on a hill...and for the most part many drivers out there are the same way..It's the few that aren't that drivers of a certian company are judged by...

How many Swift trucks do I pass each day?

    Every one I see.

It was kinda funny last thursday I was rolling west across Nevada and had my C/C set at 78 and I passed this New Century truck about 3/4 of the way to the top of Golconda summit...On the way down the other side he passes me going about 85 miles an hour and says on the CB "I justy thought I'd show you some speed there driver", When I passed him 5 minutes later on the flats I just said "You'll have to show me how it's done later...I gotta go!"

It takes a real beast of a truck to go 85 mph down hill. I used to have a stupid fast log hauler, and a tanker driver was talking smack about log trucks needed to get off their interstate. I told him if he could keep up with me I would get off his interstate. He couldn't, but now that I look back on it, it wasn't that smart to run 95 down the interstate with 90,000 lbs. LMAO

I should not have LOL'd at this post because on my way back east from Phoenix the other day this happened........

it went on for a little over three miles at a shade over 60mph in 70mph west Texas (where the posted limit is nothing more than a suggestion) before the RV driver was kind enough to lift out of the throttle and let this tool back over.....
