I did not know about forwarding through the school. Thanks!! The recruiter I dealt with at the school was very helpful, but she didn't mention that. I was supposed to have a 15 minute meeting but i was there for over an hour asking questions and she had no problems with that. I have a buddy that went to the same school 4 years ago and he was happy with them. He currently runs a dedicated route and really enjoys it. Hopefully i'll be as lucky.

Thanks for the advice. Roehl is actually one of the companies i applied with. I'll try again near the end of school if i don't hear back from them before that. I applied with crete as well, but i knew that was a very long shot for someone in my position, so i'm not surprised that I haven't heard anything from them.

What position is that? I was hired by Crete (Hunt). I'm not even licensed for CDL A yet!!! Still in school. I can't imagine how I would be more qualified than you, unless I missed something. I do have a perfect driving record, no criminal record, stable job history, etc. -Dave

Me too! I've never even been pulled over. I didn't apply for the flatbed division though. Maybe they have more openings in flat bed, or maybe they just like you more :)
