Stapes, you are full of it. Most cops arrest drivers for traveling 20mph over the posted speed limit. It's called a felony and reckless driving. 75 in a 55 in New York? You should have been arrested, thrown in jail, and your truck impounded. But your credibility as a driver is suspicious. Nice try trying to pose as a driver. Stupid TVC sales rep.

    Pur48Ted and LooneyTune Thank this.

I have listened to the " spill " these " salespersons " give in the hallways at the various T/A's. Aside from having some pretty decent looking wimmenz hawking the services of TVC, I stay away. Been driving almost 20 years and never had a ticket, so no need to shell out dollars to these clowns. But the TVC baby doll at the T/A in Monroe MI is worth looking at for sure, high heels and tight dresses, I bet she signs up plenty of drivers on looks alone.

TVC is no scam, and it's called TVC marketing because that is the parent company name. If some of you don't believe that TVC got an 83/55 dismissed in NY, I don't know what to tell you because i've seen worse dismissed in Ohio *gasp*.

Some of the people that sell are shady, but that is the case with any company that pays on commission. I can assure you of one thing though, if they sign you up and you don't authorize it they will give you your money back immediately, if you call. The claim that it took months to stop an automatic draft is absolutely ludicrous. If you call in to cancel no matter how long you've been a member the automatic draft is stopped immediately.

TVC isn't for everyone, but to say it's completely worthless for everyone is ignorant. I don't have a membership in any other company because I don't need them, not because they are worthless. TVC also has about 50,000 members, that must be because of all the good looking women selling it....

Edit: Yes, I work for TVC. Yes, I have a membership(No, it's not free or even discounted). Yes, I drive a truck, but not nearly as long as a lot of you.

My sister is an insurance agent and has a plan for less than $10 a month and even SHE won't touch it as it's unnecessary and actually a POS!

As for the 83/55 you get a ride to jail in NY for stupidity!
In OH No you don't! That's when this moron (ME) got most of his tickets and no OH doesn't reduce that many speeding tickets on truckers! Truckers are their bread and butter! Thank GOD they fixed that stupid truck speed! But pre paid legal is totally a waste of your money! But I STILL came out cheaper with lawyer fees and fines than I would have paying a RIPOFF pre paid legal!

as jim put it and I quote:

And that's all they need to do as the ones with the SUPER TRUCKER MENTALITY but with no brains will need a pre paid legal and they'll buy anything anyway!

So now we had a poser and a 1 year trucker that sells and rips off his driver friends with a pre pain legal system! What a friend! Oh here is an award for you. It's called the Rollover BFI Award! just for you PBR!

I never said I sell it, did I? TVC also comes with a bond card, hence that whole not going to jail thing. You know about you and what your friends say when it comes to LE and DOT. Let's just say I know more than you about CDL legal in every state and Canada, by a vast majority. In your opinion it's worthless, in the opinion of 50,000 other people it's not, why? Because that's YOUR opinion. I'm sorry I've only been driving for two years, but you have to start somewhere. If you'd really like to get a laugh, I haul cattle.

I started the service in July, signing up w the busty girls at the truck stop. almost $50 a month. Aug got the first ticket, had to find western union and fed ex on road, sent all paperwork, and western union bond for court.
My court was pushed out multiple times, to dec. second week of dec, lawyer said all done, no pts, call court for remaining fee. court clerk said court in 2 weeks.
lawyer never showed to court, never posted bond. almost lost license, called tvc multiple times over 2 weeks, sometimes 3 times in a day (they say it's your job to call them, they don't have time to call you). finally I called and said I would pay and eat points at 2 pm. they called at 1:30 said case mishandled....DUH!!!!!!
Got another lawyer, bond still not posted, attorney will not answer phone. called police, said civil matter and I would have to sue lawyer to get bond returned. Tvc said since I stopped payment they could not help me till I paid....2 months more.....
curently 7 mo after tickets, I'm broker, have to travel 9 hrs from my house in my care to sue attorney since he still has my western union bond made out to the court, and tvc still worthless. have sent info to Ohio Attorney General, will probably be useless. maybe a youtube video would help???????

    Any questions?????

Honestly....I just started at TVC. Got stuck in a truck stop about 18 miles from home with a jacked up car, just because I needed the money. I made 2 sales, was all excited and then found out that the person I was working with had changed 1 number on the trucker's SSN to count me for the sale because he already had an account that he was 2 months behind on. Seriously, don't sign up for this. The sales people are pushy as hell, demand your CDL, demand your bank information, and the fine print on the APP? read it sometime. It basically says if your bank turns down payment, TVC is not held liable if they still recieve the money (if I read it correctly mind you I'm not that great with legal speak) Dont do it guys, dont give them your hard earned money.
