my fiance and i have just finished our in class training and now are phase 1 drivers, i must say the training is pretty fast paced but it works some how we never even been in a truck until we got there. with that being said they are also VERY DECEITFUL. i noticed you said you were not going to sign a lease, well i hope you plan on teaming with some one because the only company positions they have are for teams. a couple of people in my class left because they were told they could be company solo's and they get there and its a different story and england was basicly trying to force them into a lease or team with a complete stranger. i dont know if you knew that or not, just wanted to give you a heads up.

Team driving with a fiance is something i could deal with. However, i once left a company because i was being forced to team drive, and it was not possible for me.

Cause they try to hook you up with total friggin strangers, and all they did was give us a list of phone numbers and names and we were told to call em and see if we liked em. One time i was told, hey, walk the yard and find this guy's truck and talk to him! That worked better but he already had someone coming to drive with him.

Well, people act a lot different on the phone... :)

No...They are watching you and when you are out of your room they're probably going through your stuff and looking to see if there's any contraband!

You will find out after you've been there a while that they are one of the most unscupulous companies out there.

    And I mean everyone's.

ALL companies are unscrupulous across the board, just some more than others. I got my tax papers a couple weeks ago, finally had time to look through them, ( I was busy cavorting the landscape with a truck welded to my rear) and saw something fascinating.

in six months i generated for the company some $111,000.00.

way cool! I got 28k of that in my pocket! six months!

now if i could just remember what i did with it.... oh yea...

divorce. this year's take is all mine.

FAQs? Yea I train drivers, but I can hoinestly say that I turn out good ones. I have a personal standard to uphold, screw England's.

I stay out on the road. my DM had to look up on the computer for the last time I had home time....

If you think truck driving is bad, how would you like to play a game of chess with 70 pieces, and you have twenty other players on the same board, but the game is realtime? My DM can keep that part of the job. its worse than being a air traffic controller. ( I actually tried for that job. I grew a brain real fast....)

I have a nasty habit called "git er done!", but I shoot for yesterday.

I think I'm going to buy my next truck, and see about getting some of that cake instead of these simple, boring t-bone steaks....

every driver I've trained is still driving a truck, even if its not for England. they keep calling me for things they need to know, because they know I know, and I'm still there to help them.

I've taken the pay hits just like everyone else, but I also know that if the Libs slack up just a little, things will get better. we all saw how the oil companies caused most of our present mess. (lets not pull punches here, folks. even a president can't convert a ######### to christianity. )

after those major warrantied repairs, and a good dose of periodic maintenance, the truck is running like it should, 370k and climbing fast!

I have a few grand in the bank, and hope to have a BIG down payment for my next rig (I'm not going wild, it'll probly be another f/l century. )

in short, WORK FOR IT. get off your duff, shut your trap and swallow your pride.

who knows, I might take a helicopter class instead and do something really sky-high!

my avatar is on my truck, for those of you who may have seen me around. for those of you who have met me, you know that I'm determined to live, not just survive. this job is an opportunity in a time where there are few to be had. make the most of it.

That is par-for-the-course in regards to the McMega training haulers.

    But anyway, keep us updated.
Lots o' details if you can.
    Enquiring minds want to know.

Your experiences could help someone else down the road thinking of working for CRE.

Just checking in to tell everyone that their instructors are really quite good at the teaching and that I am quite pleased by their methods. I have learned more in this one than in the one that I took with roadmaster who charged me more.

I am not so sure about the lease program though... I don't know about teaming either. I am not sure I want to test that fate!
