I live in Oregon and haven't been inspected by them in a couple years now. Its funny reading the lies posted on here by the same poster-DNA. Its your own fault if you didn't get paid for your work at knight. Why don't I have this issue with them? If they screw up-call payroll or talk to your station manager, NEVER do I work for free or I would leave and I've given knight years of my time. With all of your posts, I'm beginning to think you just couldn't stand up for yourself and do the job. Or another reason may be they forced you out for something, and not paying you would be a good way to get rid of you. Stop whining and move on, let other posters share there bad scenarios on here. DRIVE SAFE
Do not work for knight transportation!!!

Oh look at this! One of the few drivers that has stayed with Knight longer than a month saying "get over it" Meanwhile your not even getting paid for all miles driven today. Before telling someone to stand up for yourself maybe you should do the same Knighton. I appreciate the biased feed back about a company that makes drivers call payroll so they can get paid. Do you really think im preventing others from posting bad expieriances with Knight? I see no shortage of that here. You be safe too driver.

I also must add, if personal attacks are all you are capable of then by all means have at it. You really do have nothing in defense of your argument anyways. It may also pain you to know that Knight calls me monthly to chat and see "when I'll be ready to come back" despite telling them I'm not interested. I'm good at what I do and it's obvious.
So let me have it, tell me what you really think since your dumpy company had no redeeming qualities.
This is what it's about right here...

With the huge influx of new drivers over the past few years, today's typical model driver is the "yes man". Someone who does as they're told, no matter how hazardous the situation. No matter if the load is gonna be late, or extremely late. No matter if the load is overweight. These are the drivers that many companies hire today.
Yesterday's drivers didn't need their hands held; they had common sense, they didn't work for free, they were stubborn but always got the job done as long as it paid decently, they always stopped to help other stranded drivers on the road, most were nice, etc. Feel free to add, but there is a HUGE difference in today's wheel-holder, and yesterday's truck driver. There are still real truck drivers available, but you will not find them in the positive comments section of this site. Many were there when most of today's mega carriers started off small, and were decent to the driver.
In today's world, if you have a pulse, a CDL, and believe every sugar-coated "fact" that you read in a company manual, then you have a job. Why was I born in the 80's? Nothing makes sense these days. Greed on one side and idiots on the other side of the balance scale. -
Hey Mr. Knight--on-- How do you like these stats about Knight for the last safersys inspection period. FATALS 7--CRASHES--100--TRUCK TOWED--206. VEHICLE OOS AVERAGE IS 16.9 KNIGHT IS 22.7--- DRIVER OOS AVERAGE IS 4.3---KNIGHT IS 6.6. You have never been inspected in a couple of years yar right.... With stats like these no wonder they get pulled in so often for a checkup. You must run a day cab local in portland to the piers and back, if youve never been inspected. The numbers speak for themself, No BS here, just the facts, if you knew how to do some background checking youd know this before you started your rant at the people who really know Knight, Me doth think tho art a Knight himself.

JimDriv3r--- you left out the most important part of your perfect description of Knight, The head clansman himself the grandest Knight of all the Knights, Kevin, earned his stripes working for Swift and when he started the Knight wally world, he wanted it to be just like Swift.

Knights safersys numbers for the last quarter are as follows. FATALS 7 CRASHES 100 TRUCK TOWED 206 16.9 IS AVERAGE FOR VEHICLE OOS KNIGHT IS 22.7 DRIVER OOS AVERAGE IS 4.3 KNIGHTS IS 6.6 AND THEY HAVE A SATIFACTORY RATING. GO FIGURE, IF THIS WHERE MY COMPANY TRUCKS ID BE CONDITIONAL

Obviously you don't have enough $$$ to pay off the right people like the family in question does!!! I'm just say'n. -
DNA post on here your old DM and terminal you were out of.? You have nothing to lose.
To answer the other questions, I own a house and I'm home weekly thanks to Knight. As for there safety record, I can't answer for the other 4000 drivers, why would I care. The new rules should weed them out.
