Thanks everyone I will do my best to make good at this. This will be my second career and I want to be just as sucessfull as my first one was. I will post when I can and plan on getting a laptop for sure. I am a computer and internet junkie so I will be getting connected as soon as I am able. More than likely when I get my own truck. While I am with the trainer I want to do as much training as possible. If I can get a to a internet kiosk I will say hello and update. I am going to relax this week and get things together to hit the road.

good luck keep us posted -
Okay well good luck to you then. I was going to go to that school but I found one local that made it easier for me and only gave me a 6 month commitment to Swift. Make sure you get a CDL manual and start reading it. It will help when you get there having done some reading ahead of time.

CONGRATULATIOS!!!!! YOU DID IT! Now I hope you get a good trainer!
I am sure you will! Good luck and please be carefull and do NOT let the trainer make you do everything:smt045 -
Good Job! Congrats! I would have to side with a few others on here about the title though. When you graduate from a CDL school the first company that hires you hires you as a student or trainee. After you ride with your trainer and then are upgraded to solo and assigned a truck then you are a driver. The word pro can be misleading. I know of a lot of exp drivers that are not pros. To me a pro is something that you earn and your actions and how you carry yourself reflect if you are or not. It takes a lot in my book to be rated as a pro. I know of a few pros and a whole lot of wanna-be's.
Important thing to do is be aware, be safe and be courteous. That will go a long ways.
