7/16/10: Conover, Nc but im probably screwed for a few days, my hood decided to open up while comming down the 81 this morning, I could not get it opened before I left and bam it suddenly popped on me, found out why it was sticking, which was even worse, the mount on the front passenger side that pivots broke through the fiberglass.

Mine are solved, stick with it and good to go. The hood hinge/holder breaking was a freak thing. The guy leaking oil I almost bet he overfilled it and blew a seal, very easy to do. I wish you luck buddy. Let me know how things go.

I am off I am getting up early to make Fort Collins as early as possible.

Ok seems you think we are all just having major issues all the time.

    1. I just picked this truck up, a hood breaking like that is a freak thing, doesnt mean the equipment isnt any good, hell my truck isnt even that old.

    2. You already gave up, good luck with whatever you do, If your going to let a few things like this bother you, maybe your local gig your doing now is for the best. I put alot of miles on this truck already just within the two weeks I have drivin it, its got over 650k on it, you dont think after that many miles some stuff might go? I am perfectly OK with what happened, its part of trucking man.

Anyway I am in Conover, NC. I will be here till Monday sometime, I have to stop by volvo tomorrow morning and have them turn my jakes on, the last time this truck was flashed someone accidently turned them off. Not a huge deal, just the last thing on my list and this truck actually hasnt had too many issues at all.
