I did not say everyone here is a loser, if that were true then I would be guilty by association, since I am here as well. I just saw a thread of why not to work for Knight and I did not see a thread that said go work for Knight. So I stopped in to give my positive opinion. You have been doing this for so long and you did not have the forums to go to seeking advice. You learned by trial and error, but I bet there was not as much error back then, right?

I will rebutte with you in reference to the fact that it has nothing to do with a thick skin, you are completely off topic. (trust me I seldom bleed) this was about expressing my opinion about one certian experience I had in my life. You made insults to me in regards to my opinions, merely my opinions. This is a changing world, and to my great disappointment (as well as yours) the wold is not as it once was 50 years ago. You completely reinforced my initial point that there is just too much name calling and pointing fingers, and not enough opinions based on ones personal experience. I am not saying you are wrong, and I am not saying that I am right, or anything negative about you, so please show some respect and do the same to others. If you have been in the business for 50 years I commend you. But we are in a new world now, and things need to change and new perspectives need to be taken in order to survive and thrive these days. You are attacking me and making comments in reagrds to my personal fortitude which is a clear illustration of what is ongoing today. I made a post about MY PERSONAL experience thats all. You decided to say negative things, in all honesty I could care less. I don't know you, I most likely never will meet you, and hell in a year you may be right, but again I could care less. But it is this type of mentality and attitude which clearly shows why some drivers have a hard time and other get along just fine.

You have no idea how old I am, you have no idea about my background (except my driving and being an owner operator) and you are making statements and assumptions that are completely undeserved and completely uneducated and quite frankly childish. Be mature, accept responsibility for what happens in your life. I caould care less if you are a driver, and nurse, lawyer, etc... it is the basis of all the problems in society today. Don't fault me for having a nice career so far in the industry. From employer, owner-op, company driver and hell even a dock worker, I/we have all had ups and downs but many still maintain a positive attitude.

I commend you for being civil during this whole discourse. People often resort to name calling when they are unable to sway people to their agenda through rational thought. jubajajo certainly has an obvious agenda and it's pretty simple. Union company=good non-union company =bad.

Swing by on a weekend, I don't mind meeting you at the terminal. I will show you my truck, I'm an O/O. Let me know ahead of time. Personally if your driving your own authority right now and making money.? Good for you, a lot of drivers can't make it.

Talk to the drivers at the truck stops. If you haven't noticed its the same few posters on here that didn't fit in. I forgot to look at where your from, but its my own experience that I've noticed unhappy drivers based out east. Probably because the bulk of the freight is out west for Knight.

IF you must drive to get an empty, always make sure your paid for your time. Who was your DM that didn't pay you? The DM's goal is to save the company money? I hope so!!!! Can you imagine otherwise? No APU's? Wow, not all carriers do. Does your company have one? I can't even imagine what life must be as a trucker without an apu. I've driven almost 8 yrs without one, I don't know how I did. In California even, I idle! Knight trucks have 'clear air's engines- they can idle. Walmart loads? I do them all the time, there light and drop and hooks! Rarely do I have a problem gettinan empty out of them. How long has it been since you drove for knight? Miles driven? They tell you ahead of time your mile for the load, knight does not pay practical miles, ( I wish they did),, and a lot of carriers don't. Beg for a Walmart drop number? Never, it comes along with your load information. All this BS you keep posting must be your own doing. Why Knight uses 3 batteries? They want to, its there trucks. Others do the same, companies save tons of money doing this.
Your divorce with knight is really affecting you, and it shows in your posts. Get some friends and a life, you will be much happier. I will check back in a couple weeks to see how your doing. LOL

A 0/0 for Knight is a oximorum, Knight they usally are leasing the truck from Knight at about $320 a week, the truck is registered in Knights name, insured in Knights name and has Knights name on the doors. For a intent and purpose, the 0/0 is a leased driver not an 0/0. You dont have your own authourity, your own truck, your name on the door saying lease to or under contract to, you are a leased driver. Idont care what you want to call yourself, your not an 0/0. The number plates are in Knights name, the registration, the weight permit, everything, what do you own, that makes you an 0/0. 99 tank, I was not refering to you about anything here, it is with mr, knight I take issue with but I dont want to #### chat with him. Let him think hes an 0/0, if it makes him feel better. If your an 0/0 in fairview, 127069 127070 127071 127072 127073 127074 must be one of them and if the dispatcher you have is a good guy, then you have todd. He is the only one their that was a driver and knows what hes doing and if you have him, that explains why your doing as well as you say you are. The others are worthless.

Well then by all means Knighton you lead the way into a downward spiraling company. Once again with nothing but a rent a truck your glorifying a company that leads the way in turnover. With in-house orientation in every terminal weekly and drivers sitting around waiting for freight, your doing okay. That's great!

We'll see you in a few weeks when you get back home to the computer. Be safe.

    EDIT to ask

Knighton, why does Knight have such a ridiculously hight turnover rate? You seem to be pretty happy with Knight. So maybe you can shed some light on that for us. We'll be waiting for your answer.
