When I was there it was the drivers choice if they felt comfortable.

Hey TD congrats on the baby boy. Glad to hear everything is going to be alright with the wife. I would answer your other questions but they have already been answered correctly. My trainer has been out for 5 weeks "own choice" and he is needing to get home to the wife and kids so I may be out a little longer than normal. O.K with me. He is a good guy.

Your not kidding. I try not to listen to much of the negative stuff. Normally comes from people not doing their part. Thinking everything has to be given to them with little to no work.

    truckerdaddy24 and DirtySideDown Thank this.

Up to you, but whatever you decide is on you also. Just be smart and safe about it. And all is good.:biggrin_25514:

Hey everybody. Just returned from vacation. Was suppossed to be headed to Orientation on August 3rd. However, that has been delayed. Not sure when Orientation will occur now. Grandma not doing so well. So we are taking care of her. We'll see what happens in the next few weeks or so. Anyways, on a lighter note, I am just curious if the color of the trucks at Prime matter if you are lease and/or company? Or the color just a preference or luck of the draw? Just have been seeing Blue, Green, Red, and I think Purple... any signifigance? I hate to sound dumb.

Umm... red is for hotshot freight... :smt067
Green is for guys who make a lotta money...
Blue is for cool dudes...
Purple are the royal pain drivers... :king:

Nah... no significance! Just different colors. Instead of everything a really ugly orange say - or nothin' but red.

Oh I have a question about Orientation. Just say by chance that you get booted home before you are finished Orientation for either a) having too high of blood pressure, or b) your BMI being too high, or c) lying on your application.... are you obligated to Prime for the $3600 for CDL Training? I was told by someone that you are only obligated after you finish your 100 hours. Anyone have a definite answer?

So far so good. Have more money in the bank than I've had in quite awhile. My regular FM went on vacation last week - first pinch-hitter sucked. They guy we have this week is much better.

Keeping me busy, and my revenue numbers are looking good. That's a definite, "going well so far!"

Unless something had changed, you can actually go out with the instructor for one week, and decide that it's not for you and leave, and not be obligated for the school payment.
