No need to worry about that. It use to be called "riding for the brand."
####!, I'm going to have to start charging by the question! Just kidding, ask away.
These are company truck that have been switched over to the lease program. They have no amenities. They are decent trucks, just no extras. Well, I should say, they can be decent trucks. On the lease program, there is no telling how the driver before you treated his truck. Hopefully, he kept up with his maintenance.
I can't answer the questions about the physical. I had just come from running a Martial Arts School and had lost a lot of weight. I have seen some big people at ATS. Your main concern will be your Blood Pressure and Blood Sugar.
I think you are limited to a 750 watt Power Inverter, it may be 1,000 watt. The maintenance shop has to install it for you.
You will be staying at the Days Inn in St. Cloud. Sam's Club is right behind it. In fact that is where many of us park our trucks while staying at the Day's Inn.
Things I do not like about ATS

Terry's correct, Watch your blood pressure and sugar level.
If on blood pressure pills make sure you take them.
Do not miss the shuttle bus, that is an auto fail I understand. -

Well thanks a bunch, I have my 2 year med card but I have set on my butt the past year or so.. So ill go to the doctor tomorrow and have em check my bp.. Its weird.. As big as I am.. My bp and sugars are usually really good.. But hell, anyone that carries my weight around all day should be healthy.. Hahaha.
Alright thanks a lot, for all the answers.. Ya'll have been kind to me and I hope to see ya'll on the road, hopefully in a nice truck.. I'm going to look around and choose a little better this time than my last time.. I think ill be good as long as I can pass that driving and backing test, I'm so used to a long nose and reefer trailer that its gunna take a bit to get used to the snub noses and flatbeds..
Well if I do pass, I wouldn't mind having you fellas in my driver network, of course, if you deem that I'm trust worthy and knowlageable enough to speak with. I just wish I could get this first day here and gone.. That way I know if it'll be flipping burgers or straping loads. If I come up with any more questions, ill ask... Oh ya.. I know the 780 volvos have what.. 73' inch bunk? What about a classic or the smaller freightliners? Good size sleepers on them? -
I can't answer any question about Volvos or Freightliners. I have never driven anything but Pete 379 Short and Extended Hoods or 387's. I haven't even been in one.
I'll help as I can, remember I have, only, been driving barely three years and I have been with ATS a little over a year. Passin' is an old fart, pulling the big stuff. Now, he would be a resource! -
Yes sir, I hear you loud and clear. So thanks a bunch for all the info, I tell ya.. I dread that bus ride more than the freakin test.. Gah.. 21 hours for 900 miles... Ya, I guess ill just have to see for myself when I get to choose a truck. Ya, I appreciate that, ill take a few asprin and I drink a lot of water.. No coffee for me! Hopefully those breakfast there at days inn are good! How long was class and what not? I'd assume from 7-5 or 6ish?
