Yeah, Im still here at Marten. Let me tell you what I like about this company. Im still averaging 2,500 miles a week, ( thats average, some weeks a little more, some weeks a little less) I like the two weeks paid vacation that Im getting in a few days, I like the APU's, I like my new truck. As for the E-log, Im getting used to it. What I don't like is the per diem pay, and not getting practial miles. If they would take care of those two Issues, I would be content.

To hear you still doing good, hope you have fun on vacation. The planners must be getting the e-log systems down.

I haven't had any problems with the load planners the last few weeks. hopefully they will keep it up. Maybe they finally got on board with the E-log. Only time will tell.

How many times do you get a chance to haul a hazmat load. Do you stay more busy with it on your CDL.

I don't have hazmat, but they do pay $50 extra for hauling a hazmat load. I will probably get my hazmat soon just to keep them happy.

you would see a hazmat load maybe once every couple months. remember, with certain hazmat loads there are alot of restricted roads, tunnels, bridges, etc. You gotta really plan your route so you don't end up getting screwed.

I drove for a Hazmat Company before and it was not fun. Of going out of the way to avoid a tunnel and a bridge.
