Christian co. my rear end.... :biggrin_25523: C'mom, don't fall for that BS.... They lie, they steal, they exploit, they don't care, they do whatever is not on the books...
However, between Cov. and Swift??? That's a tough one.... if I were you, would try to find something better.
BTW, I had one partner (7 in 6 months), she got so mad with our dispatcher, she quit Cov. and got off "our" truck and went to Swift. Spoke with her only once after she started with Swift and she seemed to be satisfied...
Cov. will mandate you to team for at least 6 months... Can you put up with that??

    big wheels Thanks this.

Yet another trucking company paper pushing office boy insider here with the nerve to defend his outfit's illegal and immoral actions. Justice will come one day when Covenant answers to the Almighty Himself for using a fake Christian front and the way they scam drivers. In my opinion this makes them worse than Swift and Werner.

My hubby started with Covenant in June. We are counting down 6 months otr until we can start looking into Swift or something else but in the meantime he will be teaming once he is done with training.

Well I may hold off another day until I can get in touch with swift OR watkins and shepard.. Right now its a balancing act. I don't wanna just settle for any #### company , I realize I can't be too picky but I feel with the research I am putting into work search i at least deserve a half ### good company..

WOW sounds like quite a little Christian operation ya got going on there. What a company! Is this how all of you speak to the drivers?

You meaning the non-drivers and poor misguided suck ups who are oblivious to the fact that you are being used like a piece of garbage.

Between these three, I would pick Watkins. Cov. doesn't pay well, you will have to be very, VERY lucky finding a good team partner and stay on the road for a very long time in order to make some money. Some dispatchers are ok but many are incompetent and unhelpfull. Go to Watkins. All the best.:biggrin_25519:

Cov. is such a cheap ### company, they will hire almost anybody with any kind of problem, cause they pay very little and get $$$ from the feds for every new driver they employ...
HOWEVER, there's no guarantee you are hired till orientation. That's when they will tell you yes or no. So, take ALL your info about previous jobs, references, records, etc with you to orientation cause they will ask it ALL OVER AGAIN.

hear that david parker comes into the orientation classes and tells the students that if any one should want to speak with him about the lord his office door is always open.

if parker had done that while i was their i would have called him out in front of the entire orientation class!

there is an open door policy these days -- I catch up with my dispatcher almost everytime I am in Chattanooga and have bounced questions off load planners and management as well. Covenant isn't perfect (no company is), but from reading these old threads it is clear to me that they are generally headed in the right direction.
