How sad. The fact that a company has to lie in order to attract drivers. That ought to tell every driver to run the other way. One has to ask themselves why? Why do they lie? Wouldn't you think that if a company is so good, treats their drivers so well, pays them a good wage and provides good benefits, they would never need a recruiting department? Just asking. Word of mouth alone would cause drivers to apply in droves for such a good company.

Sadly, it doesn't. I guess I am lucky that I never worked for a company that had a "recruiting" department. Word of mouth worked for me. In my opinion, any company that feels the need to have a recruiting department isn't worth anything.

One has to ask themselves why, if a company is so great, they need to recruit. The reason is, they are not great. They have a huge driver turnover. And for a great many reasons. None of them good for drivers. Do your self a favor and stay away from companies that recruit.

    But you already knew that.

but they don't, so they lie. Kind of like drivers, Hmmm. Must be the same gene pool. Oh I'm sorry drivers would never pontificate.

I was working for this one company and a new hire drove about fifty miles then sold most of the fuel left in the tanks.

Should be sentenced to public beatings, as well as a few years in jail for that level of absolute stupidity.

I would love to discuss this with you over a cup of ? I see you are in Kern County. I run I-5 every day Mon-Fri. I fuel at Stockdale and I-5 (0745) and get off at 58 and head west to Mckittrick (0815). Times are subject to change depending on what I need to do when I get off work and what time I feel like starting.

Carriers should prosecute drivers who sell their fuel and steal other thngs from them. I wish that there was a way to report such happenings so that other carriers could be aware of the character of a driver before they hire them. Any driver who is dumb enough to do what you noted above should not be allowed in a driver's seat. If nothing else he should be given a very long sentence for "STUPID."
