I came to Swift with a new CDL (private school) too. No drivers test, straight to mentor rig.

Good luck to you guys! My wife and I drove team and did really, really well. We are retired now but really miss it. Enjoy your time now while you are not driving because when you both are driving you will be running hard. Companies usually expect their teams to do 1000 miles a day. Aim for 7000 a week and you will make money. What ever you do I don't care what anyone else tells you, NEVER refuse a load! That is one of the absolute worst things you can do in trucking. I know it sucks sometimes but just remember pavement is pavement and if you suck it up and take some of the crappy loads or "favor" loads they will take notice and make up for it. You guys are husband/wife team and are the cream of the crop. Companies hold you guys in the highest regard so make sure you fulfill that. Once again good luck to your guys if you ever need anything let me know. Drive safe!

*just drops by to leave Wyldfyur a big hug* Isn't cooking in a little box fun? LOL When we first started I had dishes and stuff...tried to save money that way but eventually I went to paper, foam and plastic. It's not "green" but it's a heck of a lot easier. LOL @myself.

    Take care hun!

    Wyldfyur Thanks this.

OKY who wasnt praying this week??? It wasnt a bad week until yesterday...omg...got a kidney stone!!! It was the worst thing ever. Hubby had to get permission to unhook trailer, drop and take me to er. The DM was so concerned and had no problem with that. They did have wonderful meds there tho. Unfortunately hubby doesnt have the insurance yet so we are sol, the hospital is going to work with us but it is still a burden, not how ya want to start a new job an whatnot. I am supposed to start school next Monday, hope it passes before then! Havent noticed anyone peeking in lateley, miss ya'll.

I have passed 3 in my truck with no meds. Buck up!!!

Ask the hospital if they have hillburton or a charity that covers the bills for the poor. No insurance yet means you could qualify??? worth a shot. Talk to the social worker of the hospital not the billing department.

    Hope you feel better quick!!!

Have you tried Baked oatmeal with blueberries or peaches or apples or Cinnamon or pecans or walnuts or strawberry freezer jam? Baked oatmeal is wonderful no matter what you add to it!!!

I have been making cobbler with fruit and oatmeal as a topper comes out pretty tasty. Would like more along the lines of omelets or whatnot.
Well I guess you have a way higher pain thresh hold than I, my bp was 192/105 at the hospital because of the pain. Normally I run 120/70.
