You forgot one thing. You could, like me, get so used to being on the road. You get a job with a better company and realize your home is your truck. I'm not sure if that's sad or what?:biggrin_25511:

Don't believe everthing you read , and remember any recruiter that badmouths any company is someone you cannot trust or believe. If you go with TMC you will run legal they are really pushing it with CSA coming online

Believe nothing you read and less from a recruiter. Read then find out from people that work for the company and ask specific questions.

TMC's headquarters in Des Moines, Iowa are set on a picturesque 50-acre campus which includes state-of-the-art training and maintenance facilities, Black and Chrome Truck Sales and the up-scale Baymont Inn and Suites, the industry's first driver hospitality center.

The industry's premier flatbed carrier, TMC is known for its integrity, innovation, highly-trained drivers, impeccably maintained late-model equipment, superior safety record and unwavering dedication to quality and customer service.

The mission of TMC is to be recognized as the standard-bearer of quality performance in flatbed transportation. We will accomplish this by searching out the very best people, training them in the fundamentals of quality and empowering them to develop innovative techniques focused on customer satisfaction. Emphasis will be placed on continuous process improvement in all measurable aspects of our business.

A TMC recruiter will be at 499 Villaume Ave in South St. Paul today at 5PM to explain job opportunities for new drivers at TMC. Good driving records are required for employment. A 160 hour training course is required for entry level drivers and TMC will reimburse 100% of the tuition.

For more information call Darrell at 651-7074672

Is there a web site that you can access to check the ISS-2 rating for a trucking company?

I started out as a new driver right out of school.
Been with Maverick 7 months and have been home every weekend except two.
TMC is a good company....I just do not know what their home time policy is.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm SHINY BLACK PETERMOBILE :biggrin_25515: sure meant a lot to the majority of drivers, until they realize its not the STATUS symbol they thought it was.

And as another poster noted the NEW GUY does not get the cushy runs and a normal schedule ( same as with any job not just trucking ) you have to work for / earn it / put in the time.
