Has the wiring already in place....should be simple to just put it in, plug it in, and ready to go. Also has a 'fridge' power switch in the sleeper on the bunk panel.

could just buy one new from KW, but it'd cost close to $700 i'm guessing to buy and install.

I guess I'm a little slow today. Are you selling a fridge here in the classifieds or are you posting a WTB (want to buy) ad?

Its early for me to buy one, but sure am interested in what a used one is selling for or if it can be found. I love the slide out drawers of the Kenworth stock refrigerator. Although a small dorm type frig can be had new for well under $100 from your friendly wall-mart, Kmart, Target etc.

dont buy a used one--i took one apart to repair it or use for parts--and the insulation in back was full of bugs--mind you the driver whose truck it was out of was an extreme pig

I've seen some advertised in trucking magazines for under $500. Maybe even check out a few RV places.

Go to truckfridge.com. Great company and great customer service. The compressors on dorm fridges are not designed for the shock received in a semi. Also the ones that say there is no freon are no better than a thermoelectric cooler.

    FriedTater Thanks this.

Most freak at the price on these but figure the cost of "two"(regardless of make/model) that will die in less then 1 years time and these more then pay for them selves in performance at the same cost.

I have 6 trucks(2006),5 of which have had these installed since new.
All of them still work, all of them can freeze ice cream brick solid with ease.
All of them can be left running with the trucks shut off 3,4,5 days and not stress the batteries.

As for the compressor thing mentioned,it has nothing to do with vibration.
Simple HVAC knowledge gets you past that BS in a quick sec.
    The other units are junk,simple
