I still use the same $80 swiss lock for 8 years now. It has hammer marks all over it where multiple break in attempts were made. It's been one tough lock. I don't even think you can freeze them locks.
I've had people approach my trailer in NYC and Jersey City before. I didn't give them the chance to jump on the trailer. It's common practice to run the red lights with in reason in the middle of the night.

I would enjoy tasering a bad guy just for the pure enjoyment of it. A good cattle prod is effective as well.

Their problem wasn't with the locks failing. Their problem was if the door was locked, the low lifes would crowbar the entire handle, lock and all, out of the door. So not only would they lose money on the stolen stuff, they'd also lose money from having to replace or repair the trailer door.

Use a cheap ratchet strap on the doors when you go to sleep, ya they can still pick the lock or break the window but they still have to get the door open and by then you'd be awake.....

    My very same thought!

Now is a cattle prod and wasp spray legal inside a company's truck?
I know a tire thumper is... lol

Thanks For All The wonderful input!

(Off-Topic Question: Would being a driver for an auction for one year be good enough for previous employment for swift/crst - I'm looking for these two trucking companies because of most of the good comments on this forum... I'm trying to get a job being a yard jockey/dawg or something... )

You have got to be kidding! good comment on swift and CRST!!!!!!

You have got to do a little more research then that.....You have SO many other options that are way better then them.....

for exmaple: May Trucking, Watkins Shepard, Gordon, stevens

and no driving a car will not help you get a job backing 53' trailers or a job driving a $100,000+ truck sry lol
