The now "flying-pee-den's" (as I like to call them) , haven't given free ANYTHING, to drivers for a long time. (except, of course, that "free" cup of coffee, only IF you bought 50 gallons or more of fuel..)
Back to the OP, though...
Most any truck stop that has a sit-down restaurant will be offering SOME kind of turkey dinner on Thanksgiving. Just, please, don't expect it to be ANYTHING like what you would get at home....AND, it will be fairly expensive..

Go to a Petro if you're near one they lay out a pretty nice spread on the Buffet on Thanksgiving. If i remember right it was 14-15 bucks but was a decent spread and got a nice slice of pie after eating dinner.

I'm enjoying this holiday at home with family for a change. I'll be thinking about the rest of you out there. Holiday weekend freight doesn't get delivered without the hard work of dedicated truckers making sacrifices. -
I'm going to fix our own little Thanksgiving meal here on the truck if we don't get to the house. I have it all planned.
Of course that plan can be instantly changed if I see a place open.simplyred1962 Thanks this. -
I'm actually going to be home for Thanksgiving for the first time since I started driving, kinda, I have to go home and drive my Jeep 7 hours to Pittsburgh. However, the best Thanksgiving meal I've had on the road was at the Petro in El Paso, TX. Be warned though, most places get crowded to the gills on Thanksgiving.

Flying J Thanksgiving buffet is kinda nasty, and expensive ($12.95). Turkey roll, lukewarm taters, stuffing and cranberry sauce. And that was at 11 am! I just wanted to have a traditional meal on the day and was sorry afterwards. PooP! Be advised that was at Ashtabula OH, not necessarily representative of other properties.

We will pay nothing is free. I remember when I was younger a Veterans group would set up a trailer at a rest area and for a quarter u got a cup of coffee or a hot dog. But I don't think anyone thinks about people who are driving the big rigs anymore. Thanks for all of the feedbacks everyone left.

I was able to make it to parents' house this year, well a day late, but good food all the same.
