Last night I took out my TND 500 (which I bougtht a couple months ago) and there was a spider-web type cracking on the screen - with black blotches. It powers up, but no longer responds to the touch. Is it broken beyond repair?

I have a tnd500 that i purchased a few weeks ago, my first trip after all the updates was Iowa to Misiouri, it took me on MS-5 but lost the route as i was driving in water acording to the GPS but you could see the road on the map? is this an update or is the road not in the GPS maping. and while going thru Kansas city it wanted to take me around the airport and thru the city with a 53ft trailer???

Mark lately I've been getting a fatal error to where I have to shut the unit
off then on again. Sometimes more than once a day.

I haven't been following this thread for awhile now so I'm not sure if this is
    a common problem or not?

    Hi,

Call into Rand Support and ask for Sam or Francois. They can remote into your TND via your computer and see if you have a bad file or two. If you have a mismatch of map data from the big update they can get you out an SD updater card to resolve any file issues.

    Thanks,
    mark

i already sent it to you probably a month or so ago if you want me to i can send it to you again. do we have to pay for new map updates? or will they be free like the first one. Oh yeah. Today i was at the pilot at exit 210 off I-75 in Toledo, went to type in the address of shipper and navi.exe window popped up. I shut it down and restarted it it did it again shut it off again and restarted it and it's been fine since. Do i need to fix this or will it be okay?

    Thanks Mark,
I did verify I have the 10.9.1808.xxxx version.
Now where do we go from here?
Again seeing the I64, some 3-400 feet ahaed, the TND 500 wanted to route me 3.1 miles to get on the same I-64 I could see.

Pls do. I usually keep open E-Mails in my inbox, but hard to match the handle to the E-mail address.

On your E-Mail - name, address, and the serial number off the back of the TND, bottom right..

    Thanks,
    Mark
