I know that Martin (Blue Bird) is hiring. They have a terminal in Chesterfield. They are big but have a good rep if you talk with their drivers.

You could try CVS pharmacy. From what I hear they treat drivers like gold, you have to have 2 years experience, hazmat for pharmaceuticals and as far as I know they run teams. They have a warehouse out in fredericksburg I believe. The stores are nationwide so they will probably have regional.

fleet only has 8 trucks but can work with you on home time easy.
pay is a good salary regardless of miles .

you just need to have a pretty clean record on your mvr... no DAC checks though

Variety Wholesalers out of Henderson, NC is a good company from what a friend has told me and tried to recruit me there. That is close to VA off 85. They do not do DAC checks, they mainly run east coast though. Heartland has a terminal near Richmond. A job is better than no job I would think.

Grayson Mitchell out of Emporia, VA. They have accounts down your way and through out VA. Regional will get you home almost every other night and every weekend. It's a flatbed outfit so physical work is involved. Decent equipment and pay.

    Crosby Trucking, Mt Sidney, VA.

They run a LOT of NE, up to Boston, down as far as Ga, AL, NC, SC, out to Ohio, Chicago, IN, and WI. .36/mi dryvan, .38 curtainside, .41 reefer. Store runs for HomeGoods/Marshalls (that sucks much buttocks), terminals in Charlotte, Mt Sidney, Sidney OH, and Evansville IN.

Good luck getting them to let you run legal.
