So are you saying Knights a good company? You do a job that you enjoy and get paid no matter the industry but not at Knight. You stay out for weeks running 200 miles a day and you have to call them constantly to get reimbursed for tolls, scales, etc.

Take that pro Knight talk elsewhere. Knight is to trucking as to what KFC is to chicken.

    AKnightsWife Thanks this.

Well dna mach I run avg 450 mi day and get home every weekend with knight. I'm not saying they are perfect because no company is so STOP DRINKING YOUR KOOL-AID & get with reality. Apparently you don't have any touch of reality of life. You are most likely one of those cry babies who whine & cry if u don't get your way!!!

Just enjoy the ride while you can. Nothings in your favor at Knight, your just riding a lucky wave. We've seen hundreds of Knight fan-boys here and they all just disappear eventually never returning to tell their story. There's no shame in getting F-'d by Knight, that's what they do to drivers.

    AKnightsWife and JimDriv3r Thank this.

I read your whole original post, and I've got to tell you that I am very impressed. What a well written account that is!
Heres your problem as I see it...
Yer too ###### smart to be driving someone elses truck in the first place. In the second place ya scared em because of this. "not a good fit for Knight"?
Not any doubt in my mind!
If you drive 1/2 as well as you articulate you will have no problem finding another position with a good company. SNI comes to mind but there are many small companies begging for good drivers.
Not many that hire good writers tho. ;)

    BTW- this was a compliment!...not a sucker-punch.

Well Dna mach u can say whatever you want to say but u complain about just about every company on this forum so to me it appears that someone could hand you the keys to a company with all the $$ in the world & you would just keep whining!! I'm not riding a lucky wave I'm just smart enough to just work the system to the best of my ability I've been in this business longer than you. Besides I'm already gearing up to switch to another dept with knight & be home nightly with a consistant check while u will still be in the truck.

Well...not really in the "hundreds", but given the current turnover figures at Knight it's not surprising that those who have worked for Knight and have praised them here on this site suddenly and unpredictably are never heard from again.

"Hey, Knight is good. I get paid very well at $300 bucks a week. My dispatcher bought me a pair of knee-pads and he told me that I could visit him in the office at any time blah blah blah blah...."

And then 2 to 8 months later:

So, yeah. DNA, you are arguing with ghosts (or recruiters). :biggrin_25518:
