Of course everything is your fault. You work the fuel desk, therefore, you obviously have complete control over every decision made by Pilot Corporate--including, but not limited to: food choices, parking spaces, fuel prices, shower cleanliness and how bad a day the driver in question had.
Just like all us truck drivers have complete control over all our loads, pay and truck specs. Right?
Welcome aboard, Ironsoap. Your perspective promises to be entertaining!
Ask me about working at Pilot.

Being a CO driver I dont feel that price crunch we arent presured where to get fuel an frankly I route myself to any pilot I can because they accept the fuelman fleet card we use.
I'm appreciate all you do Ironsoap PILOTs make my day go great
-
Alright, I guess I did sorta pinpoint my location. I'd still like it if nobody mentioned my posts here at my job. My work life (pilot) and my home life (the internet, pretty much) are two different stories, and I'd just appreciate it if nobody mentioned it.
anyhow, I suppose I mentioned it because It's an important factor into some of the complaints we get. Even though we have over 300 parking spaces, we still get very full. Even though we have 12 showers, we still often have a list over 5 people long.
Anyway, are there any questions about certain policies? story requests? etc? -
For a box of cuban cigars I won't say a word. I will pick them up next time I swing by there! Or you could mail them to me. -
we won't say a word but if you hear Ironsoap (where did you get the name) in the back ground it isn't me.........lol

You know actually I do have a question, maybe you can answer.
At the pilots are the drivers always supposed to be in attendandt with the pumps at all times while fueling? I was told they are, but then a driver said no that is only haz-mat.
If something happened "fuel spill" who's fault would it be? -
-
That's what I have been saying for 18 years, but this one know it all driver had to say no you don't only on a haz-mat load. I was like I don't think so, but I will look it up to make sure .
I heard pilot will force the drivers to stand there, this is why I am shocked many drivers are not aware of it or maybe they "play me" to get out of trouble with me -
what's the old saying ?.........your momma don't work here so clean up after yourself........ -
Most of them will stand there and some will take a leak while they are standing there.
