I would tell them I am pulling out of the way so others can fuel. I flag my time before I fuel. Fuel then pull up to pay so others can fuel then I get out of the way to do my times. At a truck stop if you are behind the wheel or in the jump seat parked it is on duty not driving. A diesel bear can check your logs, but if you are in the sleeper........:biggrin_25519:

    I have a question.

What kind of cleaner do you all use in your coffee-makers and coffee-dispensing thermoses? You have just about the best coffee in my opinion and wondered if that had something to do with it. And is it stressed to your employees to make sure the cleaner is completely rinsed out? Does the cleaner have any toxic properties?

I've often thought that this may be the reason that the coffee in so many truck stops/ gas stations tastes strange. I caught a whiff of the cleaner that was being used in one place, and it smelled familiar like something I had had aftertaste of before. I used to live in Tulsa and I know exactly what the cleaner Quik Trip uses tastes like. Sometimes they weren't so good about rinsing it out before brewing the next round.

you know what, i honestly couldn't tell yeah. i never really paid that much attention to it. what is it, the 485 loop or something like that. don't have my map book on me. from my last visit there i don't remember any construction on it, so they just might have.

of all the pilots I have dealt with, there is a younger probably 23 to 27 yr old lady in the pilot at milford ct working there in the afternoon shift ussually, she never gets rattled, always smiles and talks nice,I always compliment her on that.I will admit its a pain to get in and out of if you are just fueling, drivers stay doing all thier duties while at the fuel island,I even saw a driver unscrewing his headlite rim and put a headlight in,then went in for another half hour. I can't believe some of these drivers.. I deal with flying j and ta mostly. Ta just gave me my seniors discount of 10% mcard last week,if your 60 or over it saves 10% on meals. Flying J doesn't offer one to any seniors.
