Central Refrigerated Truck Stop

New years day and National beef is busy as hell so my load isn't ready.

 

Gees Raincatcher, so your first time going to a truck stop will be Jubitz? Don't expect all truck stops to be like that one! You will be sorely disappointed! We stayed at the Jubitz for "special" occasions. They have huge jacuzzi's in the middle of the rooms! They had a nice little restaurant too! You will find some of the TA's and FlyinJ/Pilots have decent cooks and occasionally the food isn't bad. My wife and I very rarely ate at truck stops. Not worth getting sick and surely not worth gaining weight! We would pull into a walmart once a week and stock up. You have to immensely cut down your food intake while driving. Even if you exercise everyday! I would stay under 1500 calories and workout for 30 min to stay in shape! It isn't easy!

 

Jacuzzis in the rooms?! When did that start? Pretty snazzy for a truck stop, I had no idea.
I understand about the whole diet thing. Hell, ask any woman facing the "middle age spread" about trying to keep their girlish figure, I just know mine's in here somewhere!

I'm at Jubitz right now, just started a 34. Don't have to deliver in Auburn, WA until monday morning.

 

How's the wind there? I've been living west of Salem (Dallas) for the past 10 years and forgot how !##$ cold the wind is up here in Portland! Brrrrr!

 

Sounds like someone's getting a room with a jacuzzi tonight!

 

Its not bad but it is chilly, I'm at the Cascade Grill getting some lunch now but ill check it out when I go back outside.
