Was just wanting to get some opinions on wireless headsets. I have an original jawbone that's just been collecting dust for a good while now. I had problems with the earloops breaking, tried some jabra eargels that were supposed to make the earloop obsolete, that didn't really work either. The eargels just didn't fit my ear very good so the jawbone has just been collecting dust for a pretty good while now. When I could keep it in my ear and comfortable, it seemed to work great. I am just wondering if there is anything better on the market now. I haul fuel so I need something small and discreet, an over the head thing wouldn't work for me. I would like to have something similar to the jawbone but without the pre-condition of it being pressed firmly against your cheek in order for the noise cancellation technology to work correctly.

Junk the jawbone. I had one of the latest and greatest and didn't care for it at all. Kept falling out, you go to press a button and you press them all...just not for a fat fingered guy I suppose.

I got a Blue Parrot over the head headset with the boom mike. Absolutely love it. The noise canceling is 2nd to none. Has great battery life and is LOUD! You'll be turning it down. Yeah, you look like an an aircraft controller, but so what.

I agree, but like I said, something like the blue parrot won't work for me. I'm a gas hauler, most of these guys have wireless headsets. They're just very small and discreet. You're not supposed to have any type of electronic device on once you enter the terminal to load. But as long as it's small and discreet, the terminal operators usually don't give it much attention. I guess I just need to talk to a couple of those guys and see what they are using.

Just please take it off before you leave the truck. I really don't care to listen to two sides of a conversation.

It beats listening to one side as is the usual for me when one of our drivers is loading next to me and talking on his headset and I think he's either talking to himself or to me.

I have an awesome headset that I got from the Verizon store for around $60. I guess it's like a jawbone but the nose cancellation actually works well.
